Burr XII Distribution for Disease Data Analysis in the Presence of a Partially Observed Failure Mode

Modeling competing failure modes is an important problem in engineering and survival analyses. Competing are partially observed many applications often pose a modeling challenge. This study discusses the inference for assuming Burr XII distribution. In particular, we consider two modes, time data collected under hybrid type I censoring scheme. The model parameters estimated using maximum likelihood Bayesian methods symmetric squared error loss function, whereas intervals estimation done with three methods: asymptotic credible confidence intervals. Besides simulation study, real-life set taken from individuals who live environment several diseases to present utility of work. Additionally, constructed measure compare different methods.
